One week at Mallorca!
First time since the free-McDonald’s-trip-for-all-New-Year’s-workers-in-2001 for me, and first time ever for the rest of the family.
My vacation focus has changed a bit in a quarter of a century, and despite that I don’t remember much from the last trip - Mallorca is above all expectations. Beautiful hiking (well indicated) and beaches with amazing visibility, really friendly people (despite all tourists) and perfect time of the year to visit.
We have a home exchange with 2 very social cats, an airfryer, lots of tv channels and a big sofa. Everyone happy.
There is a little bit of daily negotiations regarding how to spend the time (hiking/ beach/ shopping centers) but as long as the blood sugar levels don’t drop too low we manage to find compromises without too much arguing. Justus and I have also managed some small excursions on our own when the ladies prioritised chilling.
Unexpected wine festivals, markets, snorkelling - and obviously, as we are south of Germany - cafe. Mallorca - nos encanta.
